RRR is one of the most-anticipated Indian films of this year. As this is the immediate film of SS Rajamouli after Baahubali series, there are high expectations on the movie. Meanwhile, RRR created a record way before the release by getting sold in Tamil Nadu for a huge price.

The Tamil Nadu rights of RRR were bought by the popular production house Lyca Productions. Apparently, Lyca paid a hefty amount of Rs. 45 crores to strike the deal. With this deal, Lyca now holds the rights to all language versions of RRR in the state of Tamil Nadu. The pan-India stardom of Rajamouli helped the movie in getting this big deal.

RRR is a period-drama which features Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in the lead roles. Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt are playing the other pivotal roles in the movie. Produced by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Films, this movie is slated for a worldwide release on October 13.
