Yet again, Bollywood is focusing on South movies. From last few years, many stories from South were remade in Hindi and every hit film is being considered for a remake. Freshly, Bollywood is eyeing on Vijay's latest flick 'Master' which walked into the screens for Pongal. Though the film didn't fare well in Telugu, it's gained massive collections in Tamil- all thanks to huge fan following of Thalapathy Vijay.
Cine One Studios, Seven Green Studios and Endemolshine India are collaborating to produce this remake in Hindi with a star actor. Since Lokesh Kanagaraj is busy with other commitments, the makers are on lookout for another star filmmaker to deal this remake.
Master neither has an extraordinary story nor a great treatment, but the antagonist role is quite solid. The massive following for Vijay in Tamil Nadu has advantaged it in Kollywood but it is a box-office disaster in Telugu. Bollywood considering remake of a mediocre film like Master tells the scarcity of stories in their industry.
