Just when shootings began after a long pause, King Nagarjuna has not just hosted Bigg Boss-4 but also finished the pending portion of his upcoming action film in no time. Titled Wild Dog, the action thriller was helmed by Ahishor Solomon. Starting with Solo Brathuke So Better, TFI began to release movies in cinemas and more films are set to walk into cinemas for Pongal.

Even though theatres have resumed, the penchant for OTT platforms is likely to continue in the days to come. So, some films may still get a direct OTT release and Wild Dog is going to be one of them. After shooting key episodes in Himalayas recently, makers wrapped up production of Wild Dog and planned to release it on Netflix. Having received a decent offer from Netflix, the makers have sold the rights. It is set to premiere on Netflix for this Republic Day (Jan 26th). An official announcement may come out soon.

While Nagarjuna will be seen as National Investigative Agent (NIA) Vijay Varma, Dia Mirza will seen as his wife. Other cast of Wild Dog include Saiyami Kher, Atul Kulkarni and Ali Reza.
