Because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the theatres have been shut down for a long time and all the film shootings got postponed. There were no major Releases since March. But it seems like the movie lovers are going to have some interesting movie releases for Sankranti next year. The first film to hit the theatres for Sankranthi is Ravi Teja's Upcoming movie 'Krack' under the direction of Gopichand Malineni featuring Shruti Hasan as the female lead.

The makers have decided to release the film for Sankranti next year. Another movie to join the Sankranthi season is Rana's Aranya which is going to get released in Telugu and Tamil languages. The producers of Ram Pothineni's 'Red' Movie had rejected so many OTT offers and are finally aiming for Sankranti release next year. The release date of Kollywood star hero Vijay's 'Master' movie will also get released very soon.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Khaidi fame, the teaser of the movie has received a thumping response from the audience. Though the producers are happy to finally release their movies, because of the 50% occupancies, most of the producers are still in dilemma. Until and unless the theatres get Housefull, the producers cannot even reach the break-even point.
