Vijay Devarakonda and Puri Jagannath are coming up with an exciting action drama titled Fighter. The film's shoot began in Mumbai but because of lockdown, the shoot got halted. As of now, there is no clarity on when the film's shoot will actually resume. Initially, it was planned to take the film on to the sets again in October but then it was pushed to December. Now, we hear that the shoot is postponed to January third week.

The film unit needs some foreign fighters and foreign actors but because of the pandemic, there is a delay in their availability for the shoot. The makers are hoping that they will begin the shoot from January third week. Puri Jagannath is in Mumbai ever since the lockdown happened and there is no official update regarding the film's shoot now.

Ananya Pandey plays the leading lady in the film. Puri is producing the film with Charmmee and Karan Johar.
