Superstar Mahesh Babu and director Sukumar were planning to work together. A project in their combination was supposed to be on the floors now. Due to creative differences, the project got shelved. Sukumar moved on with Allu Arjun's film and Mahesh moved on with Parasuram's film. Sukumar is still making plans to work with Mahesh Babu at least after two years. Right now, he is occupied with Allu Arjun's Pushpa. After Pushpa, Sukumar will direct Vijay Devarakonda's movie.

Sukumar wants to work with Mahesh Babu after he wraps up Vijay Devarakonda's movie. Sukumar has been trying to approach Mahesh now itself and impress him with a script. After Parasuram's film, Mahesh has a project with Trivikram Srinivas. Rajamouli is also planning to work with Mahesh Babu, after he wraps up RRR.

Sukumar wants to use time properly and convince Mahesh to finish the film in less time. Most likely, it might get materialized by 2023 end or 2024.
