Powerstar Pawan Kalyan signed the official remake of the Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Pawan will reprise the role of Biju Menon from the original. There is a talk that Trivikram Srinivas will present the film and also help the director Sagar Chandra in preparing the dialogue version of the movie. Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram share a close bonding. Earlier, Trivikram penned the dialogues for Theenmaar, the remake of Love Aaj Kal.

However, the sources close to the film unit ruled out the involvement of Trivikram Srinivas in the project. Trivikram who is a close associate of the film's production house Sithara Entertainments only has friendly suggestions to make but is not at all associated with the project in full-length.

Trivikram watched the movie and has suggested a few inputs but he is not writing dialogues for the movie, say the sources. The film unit is busy finalizing the actors and the confirmation on the second male lead will come out soon.
