Thala Ajith is currently in Hyderabad, shooting for his new movie Valimai. The film's shoot is happening at Ramoji Film City and the latest reports confirm us that the actor has been injured on the sets while performing a key action sequence. The actor was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Hyderabad. Ajith escaped the mishap with minor injuries and the reports say that he is currently doing fine.

Ajith never wanted a body double to perform the stunts and he always makes sure to take part in the action sequences on his own. During a bike chase sequence for Valimai, the accident took place. He suffered injuries for fingers and hands, say the reports. The doctors advised Ajith of taking a rest and the shoot has come to a halt now.

H Vinoth is the director of the movie whose last film is with Ajith. They teamed up for the film Nerkonda Paarvai.

Huma Qureshi plays the leading lady in Ajith's Valimai. Boney Kapoor is the film's producer.
