Initially, Saaho fame Sujith Sign was considered as director and later, the makers opted for star filmmaker VV Vinayak who helmed Chiru's comeback film 'Khaidi No 150'. According to industry insiders, Vinayak has done some home work for his remake. If our fresh reports are to be believed, even Vinayak may not direct this project as makers are scouting for another director.

Most likely, Gabbar Singh director Harish Shankar will helm Lucifer remake. Harish Shankar, being a great fan of Chiranjeevi and an experienced technician in handling remake projects, is highly suitable for this Megastar movie. In the past, Harish has earned accolades for successful remake of Gabbar Singh with Pawan Kalyan and Gaddalakonda Ganesh with Varun Tej.

The discussions with Harish Shankar are in currently in preliminary stages and if he agrees, the filmmaker will certainly make it a crazy project with Chiranjeevi. On other hand, Harish is going to work with Pawan once again for #PSPK28.
