Versatile actor Rana Daggubati's film Aranya was supposed to hit the screens before the lockdown but it was postponed. Now, the film unit announced the official release of the movie. Aranya is heading for a worldwide release for Sankranthi next year. The film unit confirmed the same and will be releasing the release date soon.

Aranya is a film that revolves around forests and explores the relationship between a Mahout and his elephant. The film also sends out an interesting message to save forests from deforestation & industrialization.

Prabhu Solomon is the director of this multi-lingual project. Tamil hero Vishnu Vishal plays a very important role in the movie. Eros International is the production house bankrolling the movie. The movie will have a release in multiple languages. Zoya Hussain and Shriya Pilagaonkar are also a part of the project.
