Noted actor of Malayalam film industry, Tovino Thomas has been hurt on the sets of his upcoming film Kala in Ernakulam. The actor who suffered some internal injuries while shooting an action episode was rushed to a private hospital in Kochi after complained of severe stomach pain. According to media reports, Tovino is in causality intensive care unit (ICU) and he will continue to he in ICU for 24-hour observation. Thomas is likely to resume shoot only after the wounds are healed and this thriller film is being directed by Rohith VS. The teaser which was released recently has received good response from audiences.

"Thomas complained of severe stomach ache. So, we took him to a private hospital near Edappally where he underwent a scan. Doctors identified some minor bleeding inside his stomach and suggested a 24-hour observation," said his manager. If the situation doesn't improve after observation, the actor may have to undergo surgery.
