Sensational filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma’s sensational film Rangeela has created a new trend in love stories on the silver screen as the film has bagged massive collections and critics’ applause.

Coming to the actual point, the film was remade in Hollywood with ‘Win a Date With Tad Hamilton’, but failed to score a super hit like Rangeela.

It is known that many times this has happened while remaking the classic films. Not only the theme, but also the romantic and emotional content of the film was carried out by director Ram Gopal Varma in Rangeela very well.

When it comes to ‘Win A Date With Tad Hamilton’, things went wrong from different angles. For Rangeela, director RGV has named Jackie Shroff’s role as Raj Kamal and it resembles mixing Raj Kapoor and Kamal Haassan. In the same way for the Hollywood version the same combination was mixed with Tab Hunter and Geroge Hamilton (Popular personalities of Hollywood). 

Coming to Rangeela, it was sported by Aamir Khan, Jackie Shroff and Urmila Matondkar in lead roles.
