Just like how drugs scandal has rocked Telugu Film Industry in 2017, it has now  become a sensation in Sandalwood film industry. The Central Crime Branch (CCB) Police Team has on Friday arrested noted Kannada movie actress Ragini Dwivedi in connection with the drug scandal. Based on credible inputs, the CCB of Bengaluru has issued notices to the actress and interrogated her on Friday. To investigate further, the CCB team has taken her into custody and with this arrest, the total number of people detained went up to 4.

Before Ragini, the police officials arrested her friend Ravi Shankar, who's a clerk at a RTO office.

Later, noted actress Sanjjanna Galrani's close aide Rahul Shetty was also arrested. According to Bengaluru Police Commissioner Kamal Pant, a case was filed in Cottonpet Police Station about this drugs scandal.

The CCB police officials have searched Ragini's residence before questioning, and found some key evidence. Bengaluru DCP (Crime) Sandeep Patil has officially confirmed her arrest after interrogation.
