Power Star Pawan Kalyan is one of the few actors who doesn't run after successful directors. Though he works with successful directors, majority of the times he doesn't look at the the track record of the director. Some people say that he works with the people without considering success or failure. Recently, producer cum actor Bandla Ganesh revealed an interesting incident happened at the time of 'Gabbar Singh'.

In his recent interview, Bandla Ganesh told that he was not so convinced with the choice of Shruti Haasan as the heroine for 'Gabbar Singh'. He conveyed the same thing to Pawan Kalyan. It is known that Shruti Haasan acted in 3-4 films before 'Gabbar Singh' but all of them turned out to be huge flops at the box office.  Many people started calling her a flop heroine and some some people even branded her as Iron-leg, a popular word in Telugu states.  So, Bandla Ganesh was concerned about the choice.  When he told the same to Pawan Kalyan, he posed a simple question "How many hit films you have made till now?"

Bandla Ganesh immediately understood Pawan's question and he agreed to the selection of Shruti Haasan.  It is known that the movie went on to become a super hit and Shruti Hassan was flooded with several hours later.
