Recently, Prabhas has given a sweet surprise to the fans by announcing his next project with Bollywood filmmaker Om Raut who directed the Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior'. 

Titled as 'Adipurush', Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series will bankroll this project. Prabhas is playing the lead role in this on-screen adaptation of the Indian epic that revolves around the triumph of good over evil. As per the latest reports, Saif Ali Khan will also feature in this film. Sources say that after seeing Saif’s performance in 'Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior', Om became keen on casting him again. If the buzz is to be believed, Raut has roped him in to play the villain role. 

An official confirmation regarding the same is awaited. The film is currently in the pre-production stage and is expected to go on floors in 2022. The film might hit the silver screens in 2022.
