Legendary singer SP Balabrahmanyam was admitted to MGM Hospitals in Chennai a couple of weeks back when he was tested positive for the coronavirus. A few days back, the hospital management stated that he was put under life support and his health is deteriorating. This news came in as a shocker for the entire country. Many of his fans and colleagues prayed for the speedy recovery of Balu. Now, Balu's sister and popular singer SP Sailaja stated that he is doing well and the doctors have removed the life support as well.

In an audio recording, Sailaja said, "He is getting better with every passing day. Doctors are very happy. The ventilator has been removed. I know that you all are praying for his health. With all your prayers and blessings, Annayya (elder brother) will come back soon."

This audio clipping came in as a relief for Balu's fans. Now, they are waiting for his recovery and praying for the same.
