Legendary music composer Ilaiyaraaja approached the police officials in Chennai with an official complaint on the director of Prasads Studios. Ilaiyaraaja alleged that Sai Prasad, the director of the studios and his staff are harassing him and also spoiled his musical instruments. Ilaiyaraaja has rented out a studio there to score music for all his films. He has been working there for the past 40 years.

Ilaiayaraaja claims that Sai Prasad is trying to occupy his studio premises and asked the police to take a strict action. The police registered a complaint and are now working on resolving the issue.

Ilaiyaraaja has worked on almost 1300 movies and scored the music for more than 7000 songs, which are in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
