Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma is all over the news for his latest film Power Star. The promos of the film have already generated curiosity among the audience. Gaddi Thintava song from 'Power Star' has registered 1.7 million views within a couple of days creating a sensation.

RGV released his recent films 'Climax', 'Naked' on Shreyas ET/RGVWorld app. Many people thought that he would release 'Power Star' in the same app. But he is not releasing the film on Shreyas ET app but he is releasing on his personal RGVWorldTheatre. Speculations are going on in the media that Shreyas ET guys were pressurized by Tollywood biggies not to release 'Power Star' on their app.

In a recent interview, Ram Gopal Varma has clarified regarding 'Power Star' release on his personal site. He said that his films release on Shreyas ET when Shreyas entertainment invests in those films. He said that they have not invested in 'Power Star' and they have no connection with 'Power Star' film so he is releasing the film on his own site. 'Power Star' is releasing on RGVWOrldTheatre on July 25.
