Mega Power Star Ram Charan rarely acts in remakes. 'Dhruva' is one such film. It is the remake of Tamil super hit film 'Thani Oruvan'. Jayam Ravi is the hero and his brother Mohan Raja directed the movie.  Arvind Swami played the chief antagonist role in both Tamil and Telugu versions.

Now, the makers are getting ready for the sequel for 'Thani Oruvan' according to the reports from Kollywood media. Mohan Raja is reportedly working on the script for the sequel and they are planning to launch the film in September. Jayam Ravi will play the lead role in the movie but it has to be seen whether They are going to repeat Arvind Swami for the villain role or not.

Mohan Raja is presently working on a Tamil film starring Prashanth. The untitled film is a remake of Hindi super hit 'Andha Dhun'.
