Dhanush is one of the multi-talented personalities we have in Kollywood film industry. The actor made his debut as a director with the film Power Paandi. After that, he wanted to do another film with Superstar Rajinikanth. Titled Naan Rudra, the movie is planned as a bilingual. But, Rajinikanth preferred not to do the film.

Because of his health related issues, the actor decided to let the project go off. It is then, Dhanush approached Nagarjuna for the film and it will be made in Telugu and Tamil. After a long time, the makers revived the project. The film will also has a huge cast like Aravind Swamy, Aditi Rao Hydari and others.
