Rana Daggubati's 'Aranya'(Haathi Mere Saathi in Hindi) was supposed to hit the screens in the summer season but it has been postponed. The movie directed by Prabhu Solomon will have a pan Indian release in multiple languages. Meanwhile, there were reports in the media that the makers are contemplating the OTT direct release for the movie.

The reports went on to say that OTT giant Netflix said to have offered a staggering price for the direct release and the makers happy to skip the theatrical release. Rana Daggubati has denied these reports in a recent interview. He clarified that they are not going for a direct OTT release for 'Aranya' and they are planning to release it in theatres when they are re-opened. As the hero gave clarity, this will end the confusion regarding the release of 'Aranya'.

Vishnu Vishal, Pulkit Samrat, Zoya Hussain are playing the other crucial roles in the movie. Shantanu Moitra is composing music. Eros International is bankrolling the project.
