Following the trend of biopic season, Kona Venkat has now come up with an interesting announcement. Kona Venkat is all set to bring the story of the first Indian woman to win a medal at the Olympics. She is none other than Karanam Malleswari. The film will be made in multiple languages. The makers are yet to reveal the details of the lead playing the title role. 

The team released an announcement poster and wrote, "On her birthday today, we proudly announce our next, a biopic on @kmmalleswari, FIRST Indian woman to win a medal at Olympics. A multilingual PAN Indian movie! #HBDKarnamMalleswari "  Kona Venkat penned the film. MVV Satyanarayana and Kona Film Corporation produce the film jointly. Sanjana Reddy is the director of the movie.
