Prominent Telugu cinema personalities Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Rajamouli, Trivikram Srinivas, N Shankar, Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, Radhakrishna, C Kalyan, D Suresh Babu, Koratala Siva, Gemini Kiran, Meher Ramesh, Praveen Babu and others called on Chief Minister KCR a while ago. They discussed the permission for film shootings, reopening of theatres and other issues, keeping in view the lockdown situation, under the aegis of Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.

Briefing about the meeting, Chiranjeevi tweeted, "I thank Telangana CM KCR on the behalf of the whole film industry. We discussed with him about all the problems of Cinema, TV and digital media. He assured that the government will come up with the right decision to relive all the daily wage workers who have no source of income right now. He also gave us an assurance that the government will take necessary steps to restart the works in the entertainment industry). I wholeheartedly thank Hon'ble CM #KCR garu on behalf of the Film, TV & Digital Media industries for granting a patient hearing & his kind reassurance."

CM KCR asked the biggies that they should resume the works that can be carried indoors. KCR also gave his green signal to resume the film shoots in June. After reviewing the situations, he will make a decision on the re-opening of theatres. KCR also advised the film personalities to hold talks with officials regarding framing the guidelines for the shoots.
