Despite being a star kid and a handsome hero, nothing worked in favour of Akhil Akkineni so far. Also, he has the backing of well established banners like Annapurna, Suresh Productions & Geetha Arts. Many producers were ready to bankroll a film with Akhil. But, he couldn't score a proper hit till date. Even star directors could not change his fate. The way Akhil's career is shaping up has invited a lot of criticism, satires and online trolling.

Now, Akhil pinned all his hopes on 'Most Eligible Bachelor' (MEB) which is being made by Bommarillu Bhaskar. The film would have been arrived in cinemas by now, if the lockdown wasn't imposed. But, Geetha Arts isn't in a hurry to look for a fresh date. Because, they would like to target a nice festive season like Dussehra or Pongal.

These days, Geetha Arts is totally in good form. They have produced some super hit flicks in the recent past and also scored successes with flop heroes. So, the expectations are certainly quite high on 'Most Eligible Bachelor' and industry is positive about it. Fans of Akhil are hopeful that MEB will change fate of their hero.

Producer Allu Aravind & director Bhaskar are making use of lockdown period to fine-tune the film in all possible ways. If Akhil scores a solid hit with MEB, fans will definitely forget his past failures and it is sure to give some fresh hope for his future projects. Also, the success rate of Geetha Arts will continue to surge.
