2018's romantic action drama 'RX 100' was talk of the town when it released in theatres. The film introduced Karthikeya and Payal Rajput to Telugu film industry and director Ajay Bhupati is later flooded with several offers. But, the filmmaker could not make even a single movie after RX 100.

Ajay has penned down 'Maha Samudram' script as his second project and he took it to several actors and actresses in the industry for narration. Finally, after more than two years of his first film, he finalized the actors and everything was ready to hit the shooting floors. But, the government has announced a nationwide lockdown due to the Covid-19 crisis.

Ajay learned an important lesson from his previous mistake. So, he decided not to keep audiences waiting for his next and began to work on the script for his third directorial. The filmmaker is planning for an 'RX100' sequel and he is also ready with the plot. After Maha Samudram, this love story will hit floors and it remains to be seen if the film will be named as 'RX 150'. While Karthikeya will reprise his role, the heroine is yet to be confirmed.
