The demand for OTT platforms is way too high in these days. All the streaming services are cashing in on this lockdown period and eventually and the demand for web series and independent films is likely to increase in the days to come. Given the number of profits being made by various OTT platforms, many star actors are also planning to enter into the streaming service business. Recently, Tollywood producer Allu Aravind started 'Aha' and the latest talk in the industry is that Superstar Mahesh Babu is planning to start his own OTT platform.
Already, Mahesh is said to have partnered up with a leading Bollywood production house to float a new streaming service. They will be jointly producing some films and web series. The discussions are in the preliminary stage now and they're likely to reach a conclusion in the near time.
If the reports are to be believed, Superstar is increasing more than 100 Cr as his share. Also, all the films of Mahesh Babu will begin to feature on this new platform. If a Superstar like Mahesh is associated with this platform, there would certainly be no shortage of publicity. So, it is most likely to evolve as a prime competitor to Aha and Amazon Prime.
