Actress Ritu Varma is still called and known for Pellichoopulu. She has been part of a very little number of films, but doesn’t have any hits in her kitty at all. The actress has been trying to bag some really good films and baggies into her kitty.

The actress is all set to make her Tamil debut with Dulquer Salmaan and Gautham Vasudev Menon starrer Kannum Kollaiyadithal, which is releasing in Telugu as Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante and it is hitting the screens on February 28.

The team has been promoting the film in Hyderabad and she said, “She said, “I am not very well versed with Tamil and this is my debut movie here. I am banking my hopes on this movie. Director has worked a lot on this project. I always believe that if 10% of magnetic charisma of Dulquer is owned, I can be more happy. Gautham Menon sir has directed me in a film (Dhruva Natchathiram) and sharing the screen space with him is such bliss.”

Also, the director of the film has said that they have roped her in for the film after watching her performance in Pellichoopulu only.
