Tamil film Khaithi was released in Telugu as Khaidi and it went a huge hit. Hero Karthi has played the main lead in the film. It is a thriller flick and is now all set for remake in Hindi. Bollywood hero Ajay Devgan will be playing the main lead in the film.

Earlier it was reported that one of the Bollywood’s young hero will be playing the main lead in Khaidi, but finally, Ajay Devgan’s name was finalized for Khaidi’s remake.
 

It is not new for Ajay Devgan remaking south films in Bollywood. Earlier Ajay Devgan has done remakes of Maryada Ramanna, Singham and Drishyam films in Hindi. Some of them went a huge hit.

Though there is no importance for the female lead in the film Khaidi, it is learned that Hindi Khaidi will have the role of the female lead and Sonakshi Sinha’s name is in consideration opposite Ajay Devgan.
