It is known that Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi bought the Telugu remake rights of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Lucifer. This happened much before the release of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and the news came out during the Malayalam promotions of the film.

This project has been kept on hold as Chiranjeevi has already committed to Koratala Siva and as per the agreement, this film has gone on floors first. This project is tentatively titled Acharya Chiranjeevi.

As per the latest reports, Lucifer remake will go on floors once Koratala Siva directorial gets wrapped. Sources have reported that Charan is keen on roping in Saaho director Sujeeth in order to direct the film. Sujeeth has already signed for a film with UV Creations and it is not yet known which actor will be playing the lead role. So because one of the producers of UV is Ram Charan’s best friend, it is expected that they might produce Lucifer remake jointly and Sujeeth will be asked to direct. Well, an official confirmation is awaited.
