Tollywood Chocolate Boy Nithin started 2020 with Bheeshma, a comedy entertainer which has Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. As per Box Office reports, the film witnessed a solid opening day. Directed by Venky Kudumula, the movie earned positive buzz right from the first show and from all the centers.

Having earned a share of Rs 6.30 crore on day 1, Bheeshma has emerged the highest first-day grosser in Nithin's career. The major reasons for good box office numbers are Nithin-Rashmika's amazing onscreen chemistry and hilarious comedy of Nithin, Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Sampath and others. Previously, Nithin's best was 'A Aa' which amassed a share of Rs 5.5 Cr on the first day.

Movie analysts are predicting that Bheeshma would comfortably earn a share of Rs 12+ crore by the end of the first weekend. Although routine comedy films have not received good responses from the audience in the recent past, Bheeshma is potentially strong to attract the viewers.

The area wise collections of Bheeshma: Nizam (2.21 Cr), Ceeded (80 lakhs), Guntur (80 lakhs), Uttarandhra (66 lakhs), East & West (2 Cr). The overseas collections are also quite boosting and the trend seems to continue.
