The team of Indian 2, when the accident happened, was shooting in EVP Studios, Chennai. This big-budget flick is a sequel to Bhaarateeyudu, which released in 1996. The makers of the film have planned to shoot in Chennai for some scenes in the sequel. But however, it looks like the plans have been changed due to the Corona Virus outbreak in northeast countries.

It looks like Kamal Haasan has suggested Italy. Sources close to the team revealed that the filmmakers are planning to finalize Italy as the film’s shooting location.

Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet, Siddharth, and Priya Bhavani Shankar have shot their scenes in Chennai. Earlier, the team shot a couple of schedules in Hyderabad, Gwalior, and Rajasthan.

But after the accident that happened recently on the sets, it looks like it is going to take some time for the shoot to go back to sets. Also, no wonder if it might take a long span of time too. If reports are to be believed, the shooting of Indian 2 will be wrapped up in a couple of months which will leave a few months for the film’s post-production. Indian 2 will hit the theatres in early 2021.
