After WFL, Vijay will light the screens with Fighter - a Puri Jagannath directorial. The principal shooting of this action entertainer is likely to get started shortly.

After making a solid comeback with 'ISmart Shankar', Puri is quite excited to present Vijay in his style. Since this is the first collaboration of Puri with Vijay Deverakonda, fans are highly much thrilled about this combination. The actor has already announced that it is an action thriller and it'll have a Pan India release. In the recent interview, Vijay revealed "I am working on my first Pan India film with Puri Jagannath and I am really excited to be part of it. I am also working on body transformation to feature as a Fighter in the film.

Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey will be seen alongside Vijay Deverakonda in this film. Vijay has already received martial arts training in Thailand for his role and he is expected to flaunt six-pack sculpted body in this movie. Karan Johar has grabbed the Bollywood rights of this multi-lingual movie, which is expected to light screens in summer-2020.
