Kangana Ranaut and AL Vijay’s Thalaivi are being made at a brisk pace. This film is a biopic on former actress and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha. Expectations and hype on this film are super high, but with Kangana playing the lead role, it looks like not many are happy about it.

Many know that actor Shoban Babu has played a key role in the life of Jayalalitha, but unfortunately, it remains to be an open secret. To play this role in the film, the makers have zeroed in on Jisshu Sengupta, who is making back to back films in Telugu in the last one year. He was recently seen in Ashwathama and will next be seen in Bheeshma too. Thalaivi is slated for release on June 26, 2020.

So this man will be stepping into the shoes of Shoban Babu. The film also stars Arvind Swami and Priyamani among others in key roles. It’s worth mentioning that Jisshu was also part of Kangana’s Manikarnika, in which he played the role of Gangadhar Rao Newalkar.
