Superstar Mahesh Babu-Rashmika Mandanna's Sarileru Neekevvaru, which released during the Pongal season, has gone on to emerge as the first blockbuster film of this year. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the commercial entertainer features Vijayashanti, Rajendra Prasad in key roles and Tamannah Bhatia in a special song. The movie which is continuing to break several records at the box-office is now the biggest blockbuster in Mahesh's career.


We already knew that Amazon Prime, the top streaming platform, has grabbed the digital rights of Sarileru Neekevvaru for a hefty price. For those longing for a re-watch, the film is going to release digitally on March 7, i.e close to 2 months after the theatrical release. Earlier, some rumors were rife that this film will be on Prime within 30 days, but they proved to be untrue.


In the meantime, you only have to wait and see what more records this film is gonna break. Another Pongal release, Ala Vaikuntapuramlo is not going to release either on Amazon Prime or Netflix. It is going to be available on the OTT platform Aha.
