The resignation of actor Rajasekhar who was the Executive President of MAA (Movie Artistes Association) has been accepted, said an official statement by MAA. 


The press note that's signed by MAA President Naresh and Chief Advisor Krishnam Raju has unveiled that 'EC meeting held on 04.01.2019 has accepted has accepted the resignation from the post of Executive Vice President of MAA.'  Rajasekhar had resigned on Thursday after Megastar Chiranjeevi found fault with his comments and behavior at New Year dairy launch event in Hyderabad. Chiru has asked the MAA disciplinary committee to take action on him.


The meeting also constituted the Disciplinary and Reconciliation Committee to look after all the affairs of MAA going forward. The members of the committee will be Megastar Chiranjeevi, Mohan Babu, Krishnam Raju, Murali Mohan, and Jayasudha Kapoor.
