From past few years, Megastar Chiranjeevi has been staying away from politics. After serving as Union Minister for Tourism in UPA-II, Chiru maintained a clear distance from politics. Later, Pawan Kalyan floated his own party (Jana Sena), but he didn't get any kind of support of Mega Star. Having set his complete focus on movies, Chiranjeevi delivered back to back hits like 'Khaidi No 150' and 'Sye Raa'. But, a rumour about him has made a big flash this year. A wide spread speculation was that Chiranjeevi will be joining Bharatiya Janata Party to lead it in Andhra Pradesh. But, they didn't turn out to be true as Chiranjeevi has lined up films like star filmmakers like Koratala Siva and Sukumar.

Actor Rana Daggubati is no new to gossips. He was rumoured to be suffering with some serious health issues and few of them include "Rana is getting his kidney transplanted" and "Rana flies out of India for medical treatment". Also, the Baahubali actor had no major releases this year, except a couple of special roles in NTR biopic and Housefull-4.

At the same time, Bigg Boss season-3 winner and noted singer Rahul Sipligunj was rumoured to be in love with other contestant Punarnavi Bhupalam while they were in BB house. But, both of them have denied being in relationship during the recent TV channel interviews. The love track between Rahul and Punarnavi was the major subject of discussion among many people during the Bigg Boss days.
