Darbar is the 167th film of Superstar Rajinikanth. The film which is slated for release on January 9 is directed by AR Murugadoss and has Nayanthara, Nivetha Thomas, Suneil Shetty, Yogi Babu, Pratheik Babbar and others in key roles. Expectations on this cop drama are super high and have been raised especially after the trailer release.
Much before the release of this film, the 168th film of the actor has been announced already and it is being directed by Siva of Viswasam fame. This film will be bankrolled by Sun Pictures and they have made it official that actresses Meena, Khushbu Sundar, and Keerthy Suresh. This film might release during Diwali next year and shooting is going on at a brisk pace.
Also, his 169th film is almost set. As per the reports, it is said that the film will be produced by none other than Dhanush, the son in law of Rajinikanth.
