Since time immemorial if one has to take the name of the kingmakers of the Telugu film industry, the name of mega mastermind Allu Aravind flashes top in that list. He has played an important role in building the industry’s business and calling few important shots though he has never come to the forefront. Now, he seems to have taken an ambitious step.
With entertainment industry focusing more on digital entertainment, Allu Aravind in collaboration with Rameshwar Rao of ‘My Home’ group is coming together to launch a new OTT platform. The name is yet to be revealed but all eyes are on this due to one reason. It is heard that a total of Rs 10000 crores is going to be invested.
This is sounding like music to the ears of many directors and they are visiting the OTT’s office in the hope of bagging a project. They are narrating their stories. If this is the kind of investment then the chances of bagging a project is high. Of course, it is not that easy to get an approval. There are many levels and a very critical team is on the other side. Crossing all that is very tough. Anyhow, let us wish this OTT coming from Telugu people becomes India’s answer to Amazon Prime and Netflix.
