The trend of biopic continues and after a small gap, it is time for yet another project. We are talking about the movie ‘Thalaivi’ which is based on the life of the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister ‘Puratchi Thalaivi’ Jayalalithaa. The film has got the curly-haired cutie from Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut doing the titular role of Jaya.

The first look of the movie was released and it shows Kangna in the look of Jayalalithaa’. A mixed talk is coming out on this. As such, Kangna is very slim and everyone knows about it. Also, she is a well-known face so it is becoming hard for many to connect her with Jayalalithaa. As a result, they are saying her look is quite plastic.

Incidentally, if it was a new face doing the same role, many would have said she is a perfect fit. For now, the makers want everyone to get used to this face so they released the first look. Slowly if the tempo is good and the trailer is powerful, look becomes secondary and after some time people might remember this face instead of Jayalalithaa’s face, which is the power of cinema.
