Call it a sheepish trend or a strategy but then whenever a hero, especially from other languages, makes his presence felt in the Telugu circuit, immediately all his old movies are dug out, dubbed and released into Telugu with some interesting titles. Statistics have shown that this move doesn’t really fetch much at the box office or to the makers.

Yet, there is those times when some heroes stand out and right now, one man seems to be providing some revenue. He is none other than ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi. In the last few years, Vijay has reached great heights as a hero and attained stardom in the Kollywood circuit. Now, he has also started making his presence felt in Telugu.

Recently, he was seen in the mega opus ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ and currently he is busy with two straight Telugu projects. In this process, few Tollywood folks dug out his old movies in Tamil and are now releasing them in Telugu. Recently, one such movie was ‘Sethupathi’ and as per a few trade circles, it has managed to fill the coffers decently. That way, Sethupathi seems to be doing a decent job in filling the Chota (small) pockets of the small producers.
