Actress Samantha Akkineni has wrapped up her part for Telugu remake of 96 and currently, the actress hasn’t announced any of her next films. The remake project is tentatively titled Janaki Devi and is directed by Prem Kumar, who directed the original version too. For the first time ever, Samantha has collaborated with Sharwanand for this film.

Currently, Samantha is busy making her digital debut. The actress has been roped in to play a key role in the second season of The Family Man, a web series which is streamed on Amazon Prime Video. This series has Manoj Bajpayee, Sundeep Kishan, Gul Panag, Priyamani and others in lead roles.

In this series, which is streaming in multiple languages, it is said that the actress is going to play a terrorist. For this role, Samantha is going to do some high octane action sequences also. An official confirmation from either the actress or the makers is awaited. This series has Devadarshini of Manmadhudu 2 fame also.
