Director Meher Ramesh is highly unpopular for having delivered the biggest industrial disasters like Shakti, Shadow, and Kantri. He gave a huge shock to audiences with three back to back disasters. Having come from Puri Jagannath's school, he went to debut with Jr NTR's film Kantri, bankrolled by legendary producer Ashwini Dutt. While everyone assumed that he will make big in the industry, it all shattered with back to back disasters.


With an intention to beat blockbusters Pokiri and Magadheera, the director made Kantri and Shakti but those films have left producer Dutt in huge losses. His next film 'Shadow' with Victory Venkatesh ended up as a colossal dud at box-office. Even though Billa with Prabhas did decently well, he couldn't claim the credit as it was a remake movie


After the result of Shadow, no producer and actor in the industry dared to work with Meher Ramesh again. So, he has been with no work from the last six years. But, Ramesh managed to do some ad commercials and PR work for Super star Mahesh Babu. Finally, his association with Mahesh seems to be working in favor of him. As per the latest reports, Superstar Mahesh has chosen Meher Ramesh to distribute his next film 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' in a Guntur region. 


Meher is believed to have grabbed the distributor rights of Sarileru for the Guntur region, which is one of the biggest business areas in the Telugu States. Based on Mahesh Babu's recommendation, producers Dil Raju and Anil Ravipudi have reportedly given away the distribution for a reasonable price. If this attempt succeeds, Meher may settle down as a distributor in the coming days.
