Sye Raa is all set for release on October 2 and after promoting the film in cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Kochhi, the team is back to Hyderabad. At the promotional event that happened in Kochhi, actor turned director Prithviraj Sukumar was the chief guest and at this event, has said that he is thrilled as Chiranjeevi has bought the Telugu remake rights of Lucifer, a Mohanlal starrer which released in Tamil and Malayalam.

So it is understood that Chiranjeevi is going to play the lead role in the Telugu remake of Lucifer and soon, it is going to be made official too. But, nothing more about this project is known to the fans.

At the same event, Chiranjeevi said that he offered Prithviraj a role in Sye Raa but he was busy with other projects that he couldn’t take it up. And Prithviraj said he regrets it.

After Sye Raa, Chiranjeevi is said to be teaming up with Koratala Siva and it is this film is going to go on floors soon.
