Several noted writers, lyricists and artists of Tollywood have in the past appeared in news for having taken advance and not been able to deliver the content as per agreement. While settlement of such cases happen internally most of the time, a few cases attract all high attention of media. Now, it looks like popular writer and producer Kona Venkat too had struck in a similar issue, but he seems have got out of it with an amicable internal settlement.

Going into the news- RV Prasad, Operations In-charge of Gemini FX, on Sunday released a written statement saying that electronic and print reports about him filling a cheating case against the noted movie writer Kona Venkat at the Jubilee Hills Police Station is completely "incorrect" and it was "amicably settled". Prasad had issued a 'rejoinder to the same media which carried the news'.

The statement came within hours after media reported that Kona Venkat took an advance of Rs 13.5 lakhs in 2017 for a script that was never really handed over. In his press release, Gemini FX Operations In-charge has expressed deep concern and added "It's a miscommunication carried, without the details being checked".

Referring to the writer Kona, Prasad added, "there is no issue or misunderstanding between you and Gemini FX."
