Actor Simbu, who's one of the most talked star of Kollywood, has been part of many remake films and they didn't fetch him the required success. Rather, most of his movies earned him criticism, hate and controversies. Simbu was highly criticised by the producer and director of 2017's Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan for his unruly behavior and involvement in the project.
Many industry heads complained that his indiscipline on sets, he being late to the shoot and unprofessionalism have caused a huge loss to their projects. Recently, the actor featured in Tamil remake of blockbuster Telugu flick 'Attarintiki Daredi', which's titled as 'Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven'.
The film, produced by Karunamoorthy, was released by Lyca Productions. Unfortunately, the makers officially declared that they had to suffer a loss of Rs 14 Cr due to this project. So, Lyca group lodged a cheating case on producer Karunamoorthy for deceiving them.
Profits and losses are common in film industry but very rarely, a production house come out to officially declare about the total losses incurred. Lyca is now searching for reasons behind film's flop.
