The expectations on Sye Raa are sky high and fans are very much excited for the release. Thanks to Megastar's star power, the film has already managed to earn 40 Crore even before its theatrical release. According to Film Nagar sources, Amazon Prime has grabbed the digital rights of Sye Raa by shelling out such a huge moolah.
Given the positive buzz for trailer, producers are able to make solid pre-release business. But, the movie unit is yet to confirm on the digital rights. It's recently in news that the rights of 'Sye Raa' for Godavari districts was reportedly sold for a whopping Rs 19.6 crores.
The star cast of the big-budget film, releasing on October 2nd, include Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep, Nayanatara, Jagapathi Babu and Tamannah. It is made by Surendar Reddy, and Sye Raa is the story of India's freedom fighter 'Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy'. Ram Charan is bankrolling the project under Konidela Productions banner.
