Talented director Sekhar Kammula is making headlines, but for another reason. The creative director has posted an interesting message on social media, in which he said that he is raising his voice against “Uranium Mining’ in Nallamala.
“Uranium mining in Nallamala forest would seriously affect the ecosystem in Telangana and Andhra Regions. We will lose 3 lakh acres of forest land and its wildlife habitat. It will destroy the second largest tiger reserve in India. It would deplete springs and rivulets, contaminate the Krishna river with truly frightening implications. The Random emission resulting from the mining is proven to be Cancer-causing” Sekhar Kammula said in his social media posting.
It is not new for Sekhar Kammula to raise his voice for social causes. Earlier too he has expressed his view on several social issues and he has supported many social moments.
On the work front, Sekhar Kammula is busy with his next project, in which Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi playing the main lead.
