Since sometime, speculations have been rise that actress Anushka Shetty is part of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, but nobody from the cast and crew have confirmed it. Even the teaser did not show the actress. A couple of months ago, she has taken part in the shooting of the film in Annapurna 7 Acres is what we have learnt.


Well, we now have a confirmation that the actress is part of the film. In a recent interview, which the team of Sye Raa has given to the media, at the teaser launch, Chiranjeevi himself has confirmed that Anushka is part of the film.


He said that she will be playing Rani Jhansi Laxmibai, who is a fighter from the rebellion of 1857. Also, he said that she will be narrating the story of Uyyalawada Naraimsha Reddy to her soldiers who are wounded in the battlefield. She will be sharing the story of his life with them, and this is where the film begins.

Chiranjeevi has said that she has done her part really well. Also, it looks like the actress won’t be sharing screen space with the Chiranjeevi. Slated for release on October 2, the film is directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan Tej under Konidela Production Company.
