Age is just a number for Megastar Chiranjeevi, who turns 64 on Thursday. The biggest star of TFI is continuing a glorious journey that has lasted close to four decades. Megastar, who acted in 150+ films, still remains India's most popular star.
For many it was Khaidi. For a few, it's Gang Leader, maybe Muta Mesthri. For some, it would be Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari and others. But, people in Telugu states still enjoy his movies and they have a special liking for his filmography. Some of the super hit movies include Khaidi, Muta Mesthri, Challenge, Vijetha, Pasivadi Pranam, Swayamkrushi, Athaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu, Gharana Mogudu, Hitler, Annaya, Indra, Tagore, Shankar Dada MBBS and more.
Born on August 22 (1955) as Konidela Siva Shankar Vara Prasad, he emerged as Megastar in the 30s- all thanks to his dedication and hard work. In his long career, the star hero encouraged many directors, fellow actors, producers.
What is even more incredible thing about Chiru is his brilliant acting talent, amazing comedy timing and the way he emotes in front of the camera. With every character he played, Chiru proved his critics wrong. After Shankar Dada Zindabad in 2007, Chiranjeevi has stepped into politics and floated Prajarajyam Party in 2008. Later he merged his party in Congress and served the nation as Union Tourism Minister. He returned to films with Khadi No.150 in 2017. Now, Megastar Chiranjeevi is coming to scorch theatres with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, a true story of India's first freedom fighter.
On that note, we wish him the best for all his future projects and a very happy 64th Birthday from 'Team iQlikMovies'.
