Though Taapsee Pannu began her acting career down South, she went on to achieve good successes in Bollywood by picking up strong subjects. In a fresh development, the actress has locked horns with Bollywood's most controversial beauty Kangana Ranaut. Speaking to the press about her latest release Mission Mangal, Taapsee Pannu questioned Kangana - 'why she hasn't supported our film Mission Mangal which has got high importance for women'.
Previously, Kangana accused that there is no support to her films, from the industry. She also alleged that Bollywood does not like to stand for female centric movies. Not just Kangana, but also her sister Rangoli attacked Taapsee for emerging as Kangana's copy. Hitting back at Kangana, Taapsee questioned- "why she didn't come forward to support Mission Mangal which has five leading ladies."
'She (Kangana) always gives out a lecture that a woman should stand for a women. Then, why didn't she come forward to praise Mission Mangal. This film has got five leading ladies but why did she not support us? I am junior to her and I do not have the filmography that she has. But still, I did some commendable work. I am extremely shocked to see comments from Kangana, whom I admire as an actress. I feel happy to be called as Kangana's copy because she's a better actress than me who takes home highest salary. As an actress, I always adore her." - said Taapsee
